As the real estate industry continues to struggle, the impact of the public sector on our market grows in significance.  Our 9th annual symposium promises to be particularly important and instructive.  Victoria Hartke, Deputy Regional Commissioner for GSA will outline the agency's priorities and plans for the region in 2010: 
Bill Hard, Executive VP of LCOR, who recently signed a 362,000 SF with the NRC - Suburban Maryland's largest office lease in 2009 - will offer his insight into how owners can better position their projects to secure government tenants.  Brian Hanson, Managing Director of CWCapital, will discuss the growing role of special servicers in our industry; and Harold Bartlett, Chief Operating Officer of MDOT, will provide updates on critical transportation and infrastructure projects in light of Maryland's budget shortfalls.
