Kane is the third woman to hold NAIOP's highest elected position and will lead its executive committee and staff in the planning and execution of industry and association-wide initiatives in 2014. Under her leadership, NAIOP will:
Continue strong lobbying efforts on Capitol Hill, in state houses and in provinces on the issues critical to commercial real estate
Embark on an aggressive strategic plan to guide the association during the next three years
Throughout the year, Kane will be traveling across the chapter network to meet members and share her thoughts on "The Changing Face of Commercial Real Estate," including discussions on who will be sitting across the table as future clients; who top universities are educating; and how are companies making their commercial real estate decisions.
